Match 23: This season where new IPL teams are showing their ability to win matches and where old teams are doing well. There are two teams who were still struggling, both CSK and MI lost their first four matches but CSK won their first match yesterday whereas, MI are still looking for their first win in this tournament. Today, the team will definitely try hard to win the match but the match is against PBKS whose batting line-up is one of the strongest line-ups among the other teams. The bowling department is also doing well where there are bowler like former MI bowler, Rahul Chahar whose bowling is leveled up in these season and also like Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh. The struggling MI batters have to do well if they want to win the match and MI also should use foreign players in the match to make stronger comeback. It will be interesting to see if MI can do their comeback from this match in this tournament.
Toss Update: MI won the toss and choose to bowl first.

After 1st innings: With a blazing opening partnership between Captain Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan of 97 runs and with the help of the middle order PBKS manages to set a target 199 runs for the MI batters. The MI bowlers were not good enough in the first 10 overs but in the middle overs they manages to slow down PBKS and were able to pick some wickets by which the target didn’t cross 200-mark. In the 2nd innings, both PBKS bowlers and MI batters should extend their limits and especially for MI, if they want the two points to start the journey in this tournament.
